    Hi there

Have you also checked on the above success thread?

Just as long as you still have the account number then that helps, so give it a go.

If you require any help with this, please ask anytime and in regards of the charges, you can ask for help on the reclaim charges thread here:

Keep the reclaiming to the charges side of it separately, so that you know where you are with this as well.

    Good luck.;)

  • As long as the account was closed within the last 6 years then they have to have the records by law.
  • good luck, let everyone know how you get on.

I have had several letters back regarding BHS card (santander), they say i agreed to the ppi over the phone but as i only has a sunday job a few hours a week ppi would have been no good to me. As for the charges they have refunded £24 and sent a cheque. I then sent a second letter disputing this and they are now saying i have to prove my earnings for that year. I have asked for proof that i took the insurance but they cant provide anything.
I have now requested proof of earnings but have also filled out FOS forms and will be sending them tomorrow im fed up with being fobbed off.

    Hi there

If they have confirmed this was sold and agreed over the phone, then request for a copy of the recordings as well, see what they have to say about that.;)

They should send you a copy on request, good luck with this.

I have asked for the recording and they dont keep them going back to 2002.I'm not even sure it was common practice then to record phonecalls.I have never taken any ppi so cant see me agreeing to it also we are x directory and i never give out our phone number so its all a bit strange. Asked them to confirm what number they held and was told they couldnt see it on their particular computer. I think i have a good case and for a little messing around i will continue chasing this.
