Hello all.
Had a new netbook for a few weeks.
Everything has been fine, except tonight the touchpad randomly decided to stop working without warning.
It is a Packard Bell DOTMA netbook running Windows Vista Home Premium with all updates installed.
The touchpad is a Synaptics Touchpad V7.2 on PS2/1
I tried updating the drivers, no joy.
I went into device manager and uninstalled the device, restarted the computer, it re-installed and then worked, restarted the computer again and it stopped working!
I'm guessing there is a driver/ software conflict somewhere?
Any ideas?
