Strange pricing policy at Jaeger

Has anyone else noticed that Jaeger have increased some of their prices for the sale? This is a new one on me! I wanted to purchase an item online - but was unable to complete my transaction. I re-visited the site the day after, couldn't find the article, so gave up.
The next day I contacted their customer service line - rather I tried to contact their customer service line many many times. After about 10 rings, the line went dead/went to answerphone (yes, I tried many times to get through)...
Eventually I did speak to someone - helpful in that I was told that in order to find the item, I needed the code...hmmmm.... making it difficult for the consumer Jaeger. Anyway, once I was given the code, I entered it, and guess what. The item I wanted to buy had increased in price by £70 - just for the sale!
I contacted a Jaeger store, asked if they could check the price for me or whether they had a different number for customer services. The assistant was really nice - she laughed when I mentioned customer services.
I then rang Head Office and was advised to lodge a complaint about customer services - with customer services.
The motto is - if you want to grab a bargain with Jaeger - don't wait until the sale!
Oh - and I have not heard anything from customer services .... not meeting your targets methinks - 4 days and counting!:(

Guess what I received today? No, not a reply from customer service, but an e-mail titled '3 reasons to shop online with Jager'.
I sent back a reply 'reasons NOT to shop online'...0 -
Good news - I have received a positive response from Jaeger customer service - a reply from my '3 reasons not to shop at Jaeger'. They may just have won back my custom.... :beer:0
