Fair enough, except I voted against AfC but have been forced to accept it.
In no way has AfC made my Ts&C's any better. In fact my employer refuses to implement some of the conditions, especially those that benefit the employee.
I have recently had to fight as far as tribunal to get my correct wages. So please forgive me if I am a bit jaded and cynical.

Thats what being part of a union is though, they vote and carry though the majority decision.

AfC is not optional for employees and NHS Trusts, it has to be implemented. I do lots of work with the NHS and AfC, what is it they won't implement?

The only instance I have seen where the trust has not implemented it fully is where some employees in the same team have protection on old whitley contracts and won't give it up to benefit the team. (Say for example not working sunday, but the service has to therefore those without protection has to do it, those without won't - great team eh?).

I do on-call and have recently had a few long periods of sickness but did not receive full pay "as if I was at work" as per AfC T's and C's.
