which oil for Toyota corrolla verso?

I have just bought a 2007 Toyota verso 2.2d and i would like to know what oil i need to use if i want to top up the engine oil. i normally check oil levels every couple of weeks...thanks

did the car come with an owners manual? it should be in there. if you didn't get one you should go and ask the dealer for one.

Actually then last time I checked Halfords oil was relabled Esso product, I have used it for years up untill recently.
