Not in a union, small day nursery employing approx., 8 people, plus another approx 8 at their other nursery.
Hopefully wages will be in bank Wednesday,......doubt if I'l go in Thursday if their not!!!!0 -
Am paid on last working day of the month by bank transfer, had wage slip today, went to cash point...no wages in bank, told employer..very vague over reason why it could of happened...appears reason is ''forgot to push button to release''....but it appears everyone else has got their wages.....has said she has now contacted her bank by phone as internet baning was down...and had to transfer by phone so will not reach my account until 7th April!! is going t give me £100 of it in cash tomorrow....the other £600 I'll have to wait a week for!!!
Similar thing happened last year...aptly internet banking was down so we all got paid by cheque on the day we were due to be paid...consequently it took another week for chqs to clear.
Have I got any rights regarding this?
It is a small business...employer owns two childrens day nurseries employing approx 20 staff in total.
She could have arranged a chaps payment for all your money to be in your account on the 1stVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

It really isn't a cap in hand issue!
If you're going to get techincal its a non payment of wages, so its not lending the employer her whole wage because lending would construe an acceptance of giving the money over which the OP hadn't doneAlways ask ACAS0
