I got upgraded to my Halifax Reward Account last september but cannot get my overdraft limited raised, is this based on how much gets paid into the account??

    In general, overdraft limits are provided based on:

    * Amount of money being paid into the account.
    * Any bounced payments.
    * How much the existing overdraft has been used.
    * Conduct of other accounts within the same organisation (i.e. both Halifax and Bank of Scotland).
    * Any data received from Credit Reference Agencies about accounts held elsewhere.

    Including data obtained from searches of your financial associates, ie people you share loans, mortgages, and other current accounts with.
