my dd is 2 and 1/2 do you think she is too young for legoland, or will she still get something out of it?

There are rides that you can go on with your little one, however you might be better off looking at somewhere like Guillivers Land in Milton Keynes which is for younger children. It is also a lot cheaper than Legoland.

Gully Mouse wanders around the park and the shows are electronic type ones with talking and singing animals.

I think you will both love it. I have had several season passes and taken under 5's, including todlers. Some rides are hight restricted.
I use to take the little ones on the helecopter ride, the hot air balloon ride and my faverote was the boat ride through nursery land. The shows tell stories and there is the playground.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.

The first time we took my lads my youngest was 2 1/2 and he loved it. Usually he would get a bit crabby after lunch and he did seem to be heading that way...we actually made to leave the park but then he saw some models he hadnt seen before and just perked up and we did a full day there. There is a lot for younger kids and like mrs thrifty I adored the boat ride - fairy tale brook (though I did lose a pair of sunglasses when I swung my head too fast trying to avoid being squirted by a troll lol)
But I can also see susan's point - it isn't cheap there and Gullivers is more geared to the toddler age whereas Legoland now has grown to accommodate a lot more for older kids....I'm familiar with it's 'history' having visited there for 11 consecutive years from 1997 lol. My kids have outgrown it but I'm actually gutted not to be going there now :rotfl:

I took my daughter when she was 2 and she absolutly loved it! She has always been very tall so we managed to get her on a lot of rides as she was over 1 meter by then.
We also hired one of the little cars they have there as it is a lot of walking and she would rather be in one of those than her pushchair.
It is pricey but there are usually plenty of 2-4-1 or kids go free vouchers flying around. In fact I got one from ELC last week.
If you do go have a great day you will love it!

depends how tall she is really. we took our daughter last march and she was 2 1/2 and loved it. bit of a panic when we got there because they need to be over 90cm to ride on a lot of stuff and she was really only just on the line. every ride we went on they checked her height with these portable height things they had. she was ok and we went on all we wanted to go on, the bigger rides for those over 1m would be too much anyway, but they tend to be nar a similar ride for littler ones. so theres the dragon, and then the dragons apprentice. she didnt feel she was missing out at all.

    heres the restrictions http://www.legoland.co.uk/park/ridesattractions/rideswithrestrictions.htm?view=ShowAll

we did love it! will go again when our son gets to 90cm!

Where abouts are you? Paultons Park is a fabulous place for little ones to have a great day out. www.paultonspark.co.uk

I know you have your BOGOF vouchers for this time, but worth thinking about for another time.
  • Under 3's are free at Legoland. So you should not need to pay for them.

There are BOGOF tickets around at the moment, there is one on the Legoland Leaflet (the map you get when you go in) if you can get hold of one. Ring them up and see if they will post one, say you do not have access to the internet.

So you could take 2 adults for the price of one.

We went this year (kids 6 and 3 and 3 months) and last year (kids 5 and 2 and 7 months).

Plenty for the 2 year old to do and see.
