AM Radio problem

Hi all,

I am going to be on and about later on when the football is on...and my only way of being able to know about it is through a radio. The only way I can get it is through my MP3 player.

On Glasgow it seems the only radio station that is going to do the Champions League match is BBC Radio 5 but unless I am wrong, it's only in AM you can get them. My radio only does FM and from about 87 to 108 MHz.

I believe I have no chance of getting it but just wanted to ask in case someone else knew any other possibility or anything.

Regards!

  • On reflection, I don't think we've been much help as the OP said he was going to be "out and about" and probably won't be helped by our suggestions.

But if this is going to be a regular occurrence, for only £5 he could get a small portable AM/FM radio such as this one.

icevaner may need a DAB radio as some sports events are only broadcast on Radio5 Live Sports Extra.

icevaner should also be warned that DAB radios consume batteries very quickly.
