or ring 08442009595 (from a landline) before the australia number it is then only half a pence a minute

With Regards to KAI666 comment about the 08442009595 advice, does this still apply if I ring from a landline but to a mobile in Oz?

To the OP - how long has your daughter had the phone? It is a new phone and a new contract then I'm sure you could come to some arrangement with the company. Obviously your daughter needs to face up to this problem but I'd hate to see her credit rating ruined for the next 6 years or so because of an error like this.

So here we have a bill of over £8k when it is usual for the bill to be £50.Has here friend just moved to Aus?Sounds to me that either the sim card has been cloned or it ia a mistake.

Thanks for the suggestion, this is in fact what has happened. He has texted back STOP, so i am hoping this will be the last time they take money off him.
