Which of these sites are 'genuine'?

Looking for a new netbook to replace my worn out eee 701, and narrowed down to the acer ferrari one, or the asus 1201N.

The 1201N I've found for a good price (approx £310-£320). Never 'eard of any of them, are they any good? Or is it another case of cobranetbooks.com :rotfl:

Seems to have a few 'sister' sites too, (same wording / description) and similar prices.

http://www.techstore-online.co.uk/Inu_products/INU_ProdDetailsL2.asp?ref=8881A302

(all list cpu incorrectly as the n270)

Can't say I've heard of any of these sites. Are they all genuinely good prices, or scams? Prices elsewhere at the bigger 'known' stores are near £400, and I'm too tight to pay that.

edit- think the first few links they've got the model number wrong. Its the inferior1201NL with the crappy N270, not the not quite so crappy N330 1201N. Hmmm.

The http://www.onestoppcshop.co.uk/products.asp?partno=90OA2AB21114431K62EQ one looks to be the right model.

Looked at them, but performance not much better than the 330 (and slower sometimes) and gets bundled with the awful intel gfx. Think the main benefit was increased efficiency. Dunno how long exactly it will be until they are bundled with the ion 2 platform though, but it won't be for several months I'd guess (and my old netbook is on its last legs!)

If those sites look a bit dodgy, might go for the refurbished acer ferrari on ebay for £300 by the argos clearance people.
  • I can't say anything about the other retailers, but be warned of Techstore. Worst IT retailer I've ever had to deal with, dodgy would still be a compliment for this kind of business. Lies, delays, lost packets. I'm still trying to get my money back, they do not reply to my emails anymore. Have a good read at the reviews that are available on the internet, and which are forged (the 5star ones) and which not (most).
