You must tell the OR that you have a claim as soon as you know you have a claim not just when any money is gained. The OR will decide if they or you can take the claim forward

Am I right in thinking that any compensation you get if it is for personal suffering and not loss of income is untouchable by the OR?

you are dojo, but that is way down the line, the first thing for the OR to look at is who has the right to take the case forward

The money would be yours to keep if it is solely a personal claim so there is no reason to not tell the OR

sounds like you are going out of your way to hide the claim, not sure why you asked for advice!

If you're for real and not someone posting to get people's backs up... ?

Hide your claim proceedings if you like... it has no bearing on us but please don't insult the people here with dishonesty and underhand ideas.
