Hi, I had a secured loan with Swift advances from dec 2003 a single premium PPI was also added to the tune of £3,136
The policy and loan was sold by portfield mortgage services who are no longer trading, i have complained to swift who have said they did not have a responsibility to assure the correct sales process was followed by portfield mortgage services and they beleive the policy was correctly sold.
they go on to say that if i remain dissatified i can complain to the finance and leasing association.
Help please where do i go from here?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew
I would contact the FLA anyway and see what they say, ask is there any way they can help.
http://www.fla.org.uk/contact-us
In my experience they were no help, but it may be different with some.
Wonder if they would be listed with the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS), just a thought, if they are then you can try claiming through them.

Or otherwise the final avenue you can try is the insurer.;)
Good luck, please let us know how you get on, cheers. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
