i booked some tickets yesterday on the trainline but i found out today that i no longer need them
the T+Cs say the tickets are non refundable etc etc
but to my understanding the distance selling regulations require that the purchase of any goods or services via the internet automatically entitles me to a refund within 7 days of the transaction if i want one.
my question is:
is the trainline legally allowed to decline my request for my money back if i ask for my money back?

Cooling off period and right to cancel does not appear to apply to this.

services (for example hotel accommodation; plane, train, or concert
tickets; car hire;10 or sporting events) where you agree to provide
the service on a specific date or within a specific period.0
