A friend of mine has just asked me how can she get rid of her Boxes tab.She's tried a few things whats been mentioned on the FB help centre,but nothing seems to work.

Don't have boxes myself, but this worked for my music tab :

Click on Account (top right), then Application Settings.
In the 'Show' drop down menu, click on 'Added to profile.'

This should bring up the 'Added Profile tabs' and from there click on the 'x' alongside 'Boxes.'
