Ebay and Paypal fees too expensive?

Just wondering what everyone thought on this subject - but I reckon it's becoming more expensive to sell on Ebay?
First off, the listing fee, followed by the final valuation fee, and if you accept Paypal, this is followed by the Paypal commission. And now the Postal charges are going up! The only way to combat this is to increase P&P fees - but not sure if this fair. Another alternative would be to not use Paypal - but it is quick and easy to use...
Dunno - am I making something out of nothing - what do other folk think? Come on, Martin - start a campaign against Ebay/Paypal fees! Dare you!

I've lost hope with ebay recently
You pay 4 times if you use paypal
listing fee
final valuation fee
paypal commission
withdrawal fee if under £50
Is there anywhere that has a site that works out how much ebay valuation fee and paypal commision will be depending on what the item sells for?0 -

I agree - I haven't used my account to sell much until recently.
But when I did the charges were ridiculous. Plus the buyers paid with credit cards and thePaypal charges were another 3.4 %.
To add insult to injury when Ebay tried to draw the selling fees from my bank they used my old ( Closed ) account so they charged me a £5 penalty for sending me an email to tell me.
I won't be selling on ebay again.
They must be making a total fortune.qui tacet consentire -
