SD Card not working

I bought a new camera (panasonic Lumix TZ6), and I bought the SD card HERE to go with it.
With my last camera (Fuji F40fd), I just took out the XD card, and put it into the card reader thingy on the front of my PC, and transfered to my PC that way.
With the SD card, I insert it into the SD slot on the front of the PC, and nothing shows in 'my computer'. It seems to work fine in the camera and takes pictures fine.
Can anyone help?

Is the card above 2gb in capacity?
It may be that the reader can see SD cards, but not SDHC cards?#0 -
