    yes sadly this is true, but the networth of the product ie what is charged for it's cd should be argued as contributing to the cost...

    so if you buy a ms system and its 70 you can agrue under the sale of goods act that the shop should give you 70 quid - its like taking the ram out you dont need it its part of the product your not using...

    Why not just build or buy a barebones system then ther is no issue with fighting to get a refund for Windows?
