    Did he teach you??

Just realised my husband started in '83, not '82. We had been married twelve years and our son was three years old when my husband went into teaching. He started doing his degree in 1979 and our son was born in January 1980. He did his PGCE 1982-83 and started teaching in the September of 1983.

Both myself and my husband did our degrees at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, it is our home town! What a small world! :rotfl:

Him: BA Environmental Sciences (First Class Hons) 1979-82, Wolverhampton Poly
PGCE (Secondary - Geography and Environmental Science) at University of North Wales, Bangor, 1982-83.

Me: BA Humanities (Geography Major 1984-87). Wolverhampton Poly.
I also did a day release PGCert in Town Planning at University of Central England (AKA Birmingham Poly :)) 1999-2000.

    Sorry for going off-topic.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
