My listing has been copied by another seller

I take lots of my time to create my listings and I get really annoyed when others just block and copy other peoples. I have contacted the seller. I guess it's probably not against any EBay rules but I do find it poor manners.

It is against ebay rules. If you don't receive a satisfactory response from the seller, report the listing. You own the copyright to your text and photographs. My TV is broken!

They look quite different to me

You can always host your photographs on photobucket in the future, then you can have some fun..
Also try watermarking your photographs with your eBay ID0 -

Apart from the large chunk of text that has been copied, and the picture
The 2nd seller has been quite clever and messed with the font size and the page justification, so you have to read it carefully to find the similarities. My TV is broken!

It doesn't look like a straight copy to me. The other seller is stating clearly that it's a French version. Some phrases are similar but there's not enough to pull the listing.
Did you take the picture yourself or copy that from somebody's site? Can I help?0 -

He's taken 160 words - 9 paragraphs. He's changed a word here or there and added a small section relevant to his copy, but I'd call that cheeky. My TV is broken!

I always host my own pictures, if someone copies the auction (and the picture links) I just change the pictures for gay / donkey / kitten / whatever !!!!!! :-)
sometimes if i'm really bored i'll make a nice bit of wording up along the line of
"I suck donkey balls"
"my father is my mothers brother"
and whatever else i fancy typing in
I had some very violent threats once when I did that, a lot of abuse too as the guy apparently lost a lot of money.
I sent him an invoice for picture hosting and auction design which wound him up even more, i'd not recommend antagonising people too much unless you're of that disposition though :-)money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I saw the similarities fine, but to me if 2 sellers sell the same item/product there are bound to be similarities aren't there? The OP said their listing was copied, it obviously isn't as there are differences.
Oh and I think they were both lazy for using stock pictures
