...There are clearly ALOT of people with a mountain of debt out there and this is one of the few great places on the internet for people to get the help they need. So, if you are a new reader to this forum...

You might like to read Martins thread detailing what this board is about here...http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=25222
Then you might want to read SouthernScousers first time posters thread, here...http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280
Anyhow, my main point for this thread is that with so much traffic now, new threads can fall off the main board in under half and hour. I always try to just answer threads where no one has answered or there have only been a few answers. It can be really upsetting if no one replies to your thread, and even worse, disastrous if you really have an urgent debt question. I would hate for people not to feel welcome and then never to come back again. There has been a recent explosion is personal debt free diaries, and whilst I think they are useful, they do tend to clog up the board when newbies really need help. They are also normally very long, and so newbies might not be able to dip into them and join in. So...I propose a sub board with all the "XYZ's debt free diary" on. I remember ms_london propsing this idea a few weeks ago and I thought it was a good idea. What does everyone think?
Another idea is whether the "What have you spent today...1st August" thread was just one huge thread and people added to the end of it, when the new day comes. This would also save space.

Well I too think it's a good idea. It'll enable me to get rid of over half my subscriptions...:D"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

According to Andrea on this thread Martin wants the diaries kept on this board so it looks like its Martin that you need to sweet talk for a "child" board
From a purely personal point of view I try to pop in on new posters threads to see if they can do with any help with their telephony bills and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the new SOA posts
