I currently have a basic cash account with lloyds. Had it for 2 years now was thinking of trying for a current account. I also have a credit rating builder credit card with Capital one. Always use and pay. I have 3 defaults that are almost 5 years old and fully paid. Credit rating has been tidy for the last 4 years except the defaults. Would i be wasting my time applying for a current account, Also dont want lots of searches on my file.
Thanks Craig

Advice would be to try and get a Classic Account with Lloyds TSB. They may not score you externally if your account conduct has been good.
Let us know how you get on!I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
agreed, i think that with a default on your file your only chance may lie with internal scoringDebts at LBM (May '08) £5760 - Lloyds CC £4260, Lloyds OD £1500;Debts as of May 28th 2011:Santander CC: £0.00Lloyds OD : £0.00DFW Nerd #1247 - Proudly dealt with my Debts
