I currently have a basic cash account with lloyds. Had it for 2 years now was thinking of trying for a current account. I also have a credit rating builder credit card with Capital one. Always use and pay. I have 3 defaults that are almost 5 years old and fully paid. Credit rating has been tidy for the last 4 years except the defaults. Would i be wasting my time applying for a current account, Also dont want lots of searches on my file.
Thanks Craig

Advice would be to try and get a Classic Account with Lloyds TSB. They may not score you externally if your account conduct has been good.

I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
