Claiming hardship (after 8 week period)

I tried to reclaim bank charges about a year and a half go, and was put on hold whilst the test case took place.
When the ruling went against us claimers i received a letter from both the banks i was claiming with.........I foolishly read the first couple of lines and binned the letters as i knew after the ruling "that was it".
However, i'd like to persue these claims having read the hardship stuff.
Alot of my charges were caused by "snowballing"....incurring charges because of previous charges. I have been charged since the ruling also. Whilst im not in dire financial hardship i think i could qualify....Is it possible to do this, and if so, how would i go about it? Would i start the process as if i hadnt made any previous complaints?
thanks in advance for any advice!

Do you have priority debts?
Did you have priority debts?0 -
when i was at university yes!! i couldnt pay rent or bills.
my parents helped me out of a real mess and i managed to develop a good enougyh credit rating to get a mortgage. however my parents pay half my mortgage and my mother has recently been made redundant so wont be able to continue with this. this will mean i have more going out than coming in. whilst im not currently in arrears with any payments, it will probably end up going that way!0 -

Then speak with your lender TODAY with regards to the mortgage. If you read the first paragraph on my signature on page 20, it does put the onus on yourself with regards to speaking with your creditors so I would do that today.
With historical financial hardship, the problem lies in what you did. Did you speak to the bank at the time you were incurring charges to state you were struggling?0
