I'd be careful about having them modelled. I'm now a big bird middle aged too & when I'm looking for clothes I don't want to see another voluptuous middle aged woman modelling them, I want to think that I'll look young & lovely in them.
So unless you're young & lovely I wouldn't model them.

I agree. And even though I know I'm buying used items, I find it off-putting to actually see them being used :rotfl:

And me, I prefer to see them on a hanger than on a person..
Some people lay stuff on the floor to take pics, I don't like that either.

I find listings where someone is modelling the item quite useful, especially if the item is a dress or a top, so you can see length / fit / stretch / cleavage / legs etc.

If the items are jeans / trousers make sure the leg length is added.
Corrected so you get the best price due to perv buyers :p

unfortunately I'm not particularly young or lovely so will not be modelling them, a hanger will do me thinks

Especially if they manage to have their feet complete with corns & bunions peeping seductively from the corner of the pic.
That's one for the serious perv, never mind the cleavage & leg shot.

Take plenty of photographs, and learn how to use the macro feature (looks like a flower) on your camera when taking photos of details/close ups. This will prevent it being blurry.

Take photos in good daylight, indoor lighting can distort the colours.

Also measurements! Try to be as accurate as you can. There's always someone who will try to argue the toss though when you say a top is 38" chest, but they claim it is 38.75" or something silly like that.

I like to have a wardrobe clearout every so often, I start my auctions at 99p and normally allow a couple £ for the postage.

Good luck with it, as the others have said, I go for
    make
useage - new, new with tags, used - very good condition- or ok
zip fastening anywhere - skirt, dress, jeans
elastic waist / part waist - skirt jeans
    length from shoulder
    bust size

What ever you put your bound to be asked a silly question, be prepared for it.

Def use a hanger, I always use my wardrobe door, white,

Good luck, its a bit of trial and error, but fun.

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
