Renewal with claim in progress?

I was hit from rear at the start of March and now have a claim in progress. The other party have admitted liability but I haven't got a NCB until the claim is completely settled. I have to renew/ get new insurance at the beginning of April - should I stick with the existing company because the claim is in progress, or can I still move to another insurer\ get quotes and put 0 NCB and give them details of the claim?

Thanks in advance,
Ros

You can go to any insurer you want.

If you change insurers, make sure they are aware that you expect to be getting your NCD reinstated, and ask that when you have this they will adjust your premium accordingly.
