Hi all.
Well we went here for three nights on a cheapie DM holiday (similar to the Sun hols) , this weekend for three nights .
Have to say we were pleasantly suprised. The site was well maintaned and well laid out, and our accomadation which was the most basic was spotless!
We were lucky to have great weather, brought and cooked our own food, and also brought our own bed linen which kept the costs down. DD used the pool, and we paid for some extra activities which she really enjoyed.
Went in to Minehead on Saturday for a wander round, and generally just used the site as a base to see the surrounding area.
Had been concerned about going here (even though it only cost us a whole £83 for three nights):D as the reviews were generally bad.
I suposse a holiday is what you make it really. We knew not to expect much for this price, and basic level of accomadation!
Have to say though, i would never pay full price for these type of hols, but quite happy to do one through the DM or the Sun, for a more reasonable price!
