  • have totally missed the boat. Have been to 3 local stores and no luck even asked at the pharmacy dept and she did not know what I was talking about! Nevermind
  • cousinjack, same with me I visited 2 different stores and they had never heard of the vouchers but thanks to the kind souls on here who sent me their spares I was lucky to be able to get some items.

perhaps they are avoiding the celtic lands
  • Just to make you aware, although the voucher states "when you spend £x on ANY toiletry products", it doesn't apply to items that are classed as 'mother & baby' products.

I tried this with Johnsons Baby Bath Foam (which was mixed in with all the other standard bath products so you wouldn't be confused!) and the voucher wouldn't go through at the till.

Went over to CS desk and they stated this wasn't part of the offer, explaining to me that the Mother & Baby items are non-taxable and don't even generate clubcard points... to which I pointed out the clubcard points I had received on my receipt!

They then said "well the voucher wouldn't work because you haven't even bought any of the items pictured here", which they started to point at the individual picture examples on the voucher...

They also said that "I couldn't use the £1 off voucher with the £2.50 off voucher", which again I explained that it didn't say anywhere that it couldn't be used in conjunction in any other voucher.

At this point I thought I'd cut my losses because I was getting hungry.

Yeah, I was wondering whether it would work on baby toiletries and thought probably not... which is annoying, as the voucher does say "ANY toiletry product"

Sounds like a nightmare CS bunch that you encountered, stevenevermind! I never know whether to laugh or cry when they resort to excuses like "but the products you bought are not in this picture!"

Anyway, am gutted as the car's knackered and can't go to Tesco today...

just got back from tesco (i'm mad with them at mo and not really shopping there but wanted to stock up on this great offer) Anyway just wanted to warn u i had trouble at self scan. Bought 6 x dove body wash on BOGOF used 2.50 off 1.00 off and 2x 50 points but then it wouldn't accept another 1 pound off so staff member came opened up the box to fetched voucher out and said i could only use it on pictured products. Although it states any toiletry product. Couldn't be fussed arguing as i figured i'd got a good deal and would be pushing my luck a bit but this then totally messed the till up and it wouldn't take my till spilts and extra points coupons for other products i'd bought. Staff member wasn't happy with me but i'd bought the stuff so she had to mess around for ages till until it would take them. My advice would be to go to a staffed check out i might be easier.

  • Is there a mailing due from the Tesco Clubs now? I want to mix my toiletry vouchers in with some others so not draw too much attention!

Hello Tibbie's mum there is a mailing due shortly as I believe the August cut off date has passed. However, now that it appears that Tescos is limiting the use of Tesco e-codes they may be delayed ?

I am hoping that my vouchers arrive within the next 2 weeks but usually I end up waiting around for them to pop through my letterbox !
