    I've been Money Tipped!
Surely the mistake was identified yesterday.

Shouldn't they be forced to correct the mistake within a certain time frame otherwise the incorrect price should be honoured?
    That's Numberwang!

I will correct you on that.

a retailer doesn't have to honour the advertised price if it is a msitake they can refuse to saell the item to you at that price/

I know this is correct as i have just come back from a 2 day training course on sales of goods act and consumer rights with the company i work for :o

Although if payment is taken then a contract is formed and technically the company is obliged to give you the agreed item.

All it really needs is someone to take it to court to test it out - thing is most people won't and either way an obvious mistake is an obvious mistake and I don't see judges ordering companies to give TV's for £40 or cars for £300 simply because they made the mistake of automatically taking money :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
