Windows 7 rubbish internet

Hi,
I have recently got a new laptop with Windows 7. Media streaming doesn't work properly, eg I might get 3 seconds on youtube or 4od then it stops and never continues. This is the same on IE8 and firefox. Also sometimes webpages half load and then stop, although if i refresh it usually works ok.
Does anybody know what the problem might be?

Could be that you are having your internet "throttled" by your service providerIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

No I don't think it's that, it worked fine on my old laptop and on my old ISP which was rubbish and much slower than my new one.0 -
