Non paying Bidder

Hi all,

I sold a gold chain 9 days ago, the seller is hasn't paid. The postage is £5.99 special delivery, the buyer wants me to send it recorded, told her no, she bought the chain well under scrap value(not bothered about that auction is a auction, some you win, some you loose).
It clearly states the postage.

The buyer has over 2000 positive feedback, mostly buys. So i guess she knows i cant neg her, and she is trying it on imo.

What i want to know is, can i open a non paying bidder dispute? and then close it asap? without her leaving me a neg?
A thankyou is payment enough .

You can open a NPB dispute but paypal will give the seller time to respond. However, if she still doesn't pay but leaves you a neg you can ask ebay to remove it and they usually will.

She may pay as soon as you open the dispute and still neg after she has received it - I wouldn't worry too much about 1 neg, if the rest of your feedback is good buyers will see what you are really like.

A non paying bidder dispute has to be open for 4 days before you can close it .

The last time i did a NPB, you had to wait 7 days, but could close it, straight away to stop the paying. Hoping to do that, as i can see her moaning about the postage £5.99(SD £5.20 + jiffy bag) think i might be making about 20p:eek:.
