My stoves cooker

I have had my cooker for about 3 years and the knobs have started to melt, the silver around them has peeled off and when the grill is on the knobs get so hot I have to use the tea towel to turn it off.
Is there anything I can do about this?
I donno if I have posted in the right place but wanted some advice
thanks

It's possible the seal around the door has worn or maybe not seated properly and is throwing hot air up to the controls. I'm not sure this would be classed as an inherent fault though. Any remedy you may have would be with the original retailer.0

My folks have had a few stove cookers ... the last one had problems with the knobs ... they got in touch with customer services and they replaced them free of charge ... so contact Stoves ... you may be pleasantly surprised ...0
