As the title, has anyone got any experience of https://www.overclock.co.uk, good or bad?
I'm lloking to upgrade my PC and the MoBo, CPU and RAM I want are all cheaper there than anywhere else. However I've never used them before and have no idea how reliable they are.

It's my problem, it's my problem

And it's my problem if I have no friends

Are some people stupid? The reviews on that site sometimes to refer to Overclockers. A different company!
All the 1*s refer to Overclock, all the 5*s refer to Overclockers
Ha some people.
I would stay clear!0 -
Yep I found that as well, people seem unable to differentiate between overclock and overclockers.
I may just get the bits from a company I'ved used before as it's £400 or so.It's my problem, it's my problem

I used overclock.co.uk in 2005 to buy parts for my PC then and they delivered no trouble at all...
then sometime in 2007-2008ish I went back to their site looking for something and it was plastered with messages about them being in receivership/administration, not taking any orders and generally having gone bust.
Looks like now its back to its original state but presumably having been bought out/under new management so I guess older experiences won't necessarily be any reliable guide to them now.....
I used overclockers around that time too and they were a bit slow/difficult to contact and I've heard they're fine when things are in stock and work fine when they arrive but they can be a bit slow off the mark if ever anything doesn't go strictly to plan.... hence I can imagine them getting a few 1* ratings of their own accord0
