Im not the one with a puppet as my logo. Its unfortunate that My brain works quicker than yours, therefore my spelling has to take 2nd place. Yours may take first, but then like so many well trained pets
(and puppets), they are taught to follow the rules, but not break them.

Your input on making and saving money is pathetically weak, infact non- existent You need to carry on following those in front of you, and slowly pick up the pieces of what theyre trying to explain, rather than looking for spelling mistakes you bore. :D

And really, Paps-in-Aberdeen gave me the title of site pedant, and I'm not ready to relinquish it to jellyhead just because Paps-in-Manchester has come along.

Danny, I don't think you've exactly come up with anything new, have you? If you turn up on a board arrogantly claiming to know more than anyone else (and to be Martin's No. 2), then why not prove it by producing one single new idea, rather than indulging in brainless regurgitation of what has been posted many times before. Believe me, it is not news here to suggest that it is worth shopping around when re-mortgaging. It is in fact bleeding obvious.

As to claiming your brain works quicker than mine, well I'd be very happy to concede that the bit connected to the mouth does. But this is as far as I'd go, definitely.

You could just be the site pendant. All this involves is a little hanging around... ;)

I started it of by correcting dannyinmanchester's use of of lender versus borrrower. I then quipped that I had done this in case some pedant came along and did the very same thing. The injoke was that I was behaving in a nitpicking, narrowminded way in lecturing him.

I apologize to every reader I have offended.

Unfortunately for a lot, I also stand by my
    "pap-in-manchester" beliefs.

It helps to remember, that because you are a regular moneysaver, does not mean you know all the answers.

Another piece of psychology i take comfort in is this, if my threads are truly

    1) ininteresting pap

    and

    2) All been said before

then why are they being replied to so much.

Surely threads like this have little, or no inspiring feedback. As a result i have responded by changing my caption.

    :)Thats all

One of the reasons your posts get replied to so much is because they are as a rule giving a mixture of pat generalities and dangerously bad financial advice, spouted with a great deal of arrogance and c0cksure authority. Which judging by the quality of your outpourings is completely misplaced. You really don't seem to have the first clue about the details of the subjects you're pontificating about, whereas there are a good many people posting here that know them inside out.

You appear to hold the intelligence of everyone except yourself in absolute contempt, which is another reason why you are going to stir up a reaction. I see nothing in what you have written anywhere that leads me to any other conclusion that you are a bit of a prat with a massively overelevated opinion of himself - there's a wonderful French expression for this, celui qui pete plus haut que son cul. (someone who farts higher than his a**).
