they are not taking one any new business in N.ireland & Uk but you are still insured until your policy expires
"The regulator ordered the firm to stop writing new business in the UK, where it specialised in providing motor and professional indemnity insurance. A statement on its website says that anyone with an existing policy with the firm will not be affected and that its policies will remain valid.
“The effect of this action is to prevent Quinn Insurance Limited suffering further financial losses from its currently unprofitable UK business,” the statement said"0 -
Looks like Sean's gravel pit was not bottomless after all:eek:
Unfortunately I can see a lot of redundancies coming around Derrylin too, no company seems recession proof:( and since the core business is still construction related I am only surprised it hasn't happened sooner:o
I feel for the 100's of employees that may be getting P45's soon:(I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
My Girlfriends new policy (car) starts on 1st April and she has paid in full by credit card.
