Trailing sweet peas

I have received my trailing sweet peas today. Does anybody know whether I can plant them outside? In the instructions it says they can be planted straight in the containers but did not mention whether they need protection in case of frost. Thanks

  • I have my sweet peas in mini greenhouse. I would not put out any bedding plants for another few weeks but perhaps if you covered them up they may be ok. I'm not an expert on these, just playing safe
