Logged into my account and far from happy.

I have been on Ebay for years. Buying things, selling things. Nothing unusual.

Recently I have sold some concert tickets and got a job lot of 10 PS3 games i sold. All leaving good positive feedback on my account.

I now finding myself having to jump through hoops to resolve this.

*Got to dig out receipts for postage(don't know if I still have them all)
*Provide evidence of where i got my goods from
*Provide evidence of my address
*Provide evidence of WHO i am IE: driving licence with my photo AND addess
* Supplier contact info ??? from where ticketmaster ? lol and game ???(What a joke)

Now i understand security and having to account for yourself. But my Ebay account is fine, feedback from customers fine, everything always paid on time fees etc...
Verified Paypal member etc..... !!!!

I am far from happy.:mad::mad::mad:

This is going to take me ages to et everything and IF i can get everything. PO receipts, receipts for goods i bought and all the other gumph.

Please don't ask about did I call them.... Bloddy Indian call centre...getting nowhere from someone half way around the world reading from a script !!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh !!!!!!!

Think after all this F*** !! EBAY and PAYPAL !!! and close both accounts.

Whats it all about ??? I understand for prevention of fraud/security etc....but all they need to do is look at both Ebay and paypal accounts to establish no dodgy underhand dealings etc..... After all they ARE both the same company !!!

    Quite. So DOUBLE the problems!

You will have to do exactly as they have asked within any time limits they have set. And then you may have to jump through a few hoops.

If you have funds in the account, you may find you cannot access them and furthermore, they can be held for 180 days. It may be easier to give the information they require.

By the way they are not the same company. One company owns the other which is different. The sort of items you are selling are high value items so this may have triggered something. Also if you had not remover your yearly £1700 receiving limit and you hit this it would have restricted your account. My guess its the concert ticket that triggered this

If you don't sort it out you will be unable to use ebay or paypal again which you may be happy about now. But frequently people post here trying to unblock accounts that that got blocked years ago as they suddenly decide they wish to use the facilities again. It will be easier to sort it iut now rather than years doem=n the line
