Expanding foam cleaning

Options
I bought a can of expanding foam a while back to seal a window, I sealed the nozzle back up and left it on a shelf. when I went to use it yesterday again, it was clogged up in the gun part of the nozzle.
As this is nearly a full can of foam I dont want to throw it away but it is not coming out and Imnot sure what to do.

Has anyone any tips on how I can either get a replacement trigger bit or clean it so the foam will come out. The aerosol is coming out so even if I do get it working theres no guarantee theres enough gas in the can to make the foam come out. This is so frustrating and annoying and most definately anti money saving as this can cost around £8 and was only used once.:(

Try cutting an inch of the end, you might be lucky, you might not.
I always carry a can of Webflex foam cleaner £3-£4 can and clean the nozzle after use. If you use foam a lot (I assume perhaps you do as a sparky, buy a metal gun for your cans about £5, much easier to clean - simply put on end of cleaning can and spray.)

I had the same problem last week.

I ask one of the staff at B&Q if they sold them separately. They don't.

He pointed to one on the racking that had come off of a can & told me to put it in my trolley...

No help to you now, and I don't know if all foam sprays are the same but the brand I use has to be hels upside down in use. To clean the nozzle you stand the can the right way up and press the trigger untill just gas comes out. If it has solidified in the valve of the can, well, bin it ;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Just something to try, I have done it to clean excess foam from surfaces by using nail varnish remover.
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy...
