    Also as another poster has said DPreview is a well known site giving good information and good forums on Olympus cameras .
    John Lewis is very good and will price match any UK store which has a shop including Warehouse express
  • He may need to use a tripod with extreme zooms.

    Wow - thanks guys for all the replies!!

    He loves the camera and lens that he has and is getting the hang of using it!

    He has a tripod already as he also uses the camera for making stop motion movies.

    He says he basically wants a lens that just has more zoom on it so he can take photos of wildlife etc when we're on holiday.

    A 150mm might not be quite enough, it would depend on how "friendly" the wildlife is.

    Unless you are prepared to pay for the 70-300mm at around £230 inc P&P, then possibly the Sigma may be the lens to look at.

    However, can I suggest that you and your son look at this page? It is a direct comparison (though not particularly scientific) of three lens. One of these, the Zuiko ZD50-200 is serious amateur level glass and a bit beyond most who just take photos for fun. The other two though are the Oly 40-150 and the Sigma 55-200.

    Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about the bokeh or the "yellow cast" on the sigma, as both are totally fixable in photoshop
