Apparently on Good Friday a representative from the Halifax is coming round to visit.... (do you think he/she will bring Eggs)

Any ideas what to expect? Or shall I just not answer the door?

LOL this happened to me I got two "wage slip" type letters opened them from the halifax. Looked forward to them coming round to discuss our current finacial situation but sadley no one came. lol...

I dont know if they will turn up but the odds are they wont, I had been ignoring thier calls and it looked like an attempt to scare me into ringing them.

Hmmm another ploy....Good Friday is a bank holiday...Halifax are a bank & will be closed...if anyone calls I would send them away & certainly not discuss any financial matters with them.

I had lots of threats of `callers` (MBNA for me) but no-one ever did call in reality although the fear of it was very real indeed to me......I have hidden in my bathroom when the doorbell rang in the past:o:o. Only to realise later that all the callers were named after colours...Mr Brown, White, Green....LOL I know better now;)

Yes i got the same type of letter!! Perferated edges and all sorts.

Ah same as me then Windsurf (Not that you can ever call them back as the number they call me at home from doesn't ring when you call back and I will be !!!!!!ed if I am calling their premium rate numbers)

I am dropping them a line today anyway so lets see!!

I have one glass pane in my front door - was going toput a little curtain up so no one can see in!! this letter was unsigned.

I won't let it ruin easter eh!

Hmmm why did you have to go reminding me of easter eggs....may have to get one now.....still into creme egg mode although the malteser choccy bunnies are yummy:EasterBun

Seriously though....I`d call & challenge them as to why someone would be calling at your house when it is a Bank holiday....they will say its a mistake but actually its more likely to be a deliberate attempt to unsettle you...just another ploy. Please don`t feel harrassed.
