Just wondered if you could do this?
Received my first neg a week ago for selling a pair of shorts, which apparently had the button missing - I did not notice this when packing. The shorts were listed and ran their course without selling, I then recieved an email from a "watcher" who asked if I could re-list them as they had missed them, to which I replied ok and re-list. They subsequently sold to this bidder who emailed me again saying they were glad they managed to get them this time. I posted them first class the next day and then they leave a negative saying the shorts had a button missing - no communication - just the neg! I emailed them apologising saying I did not know the button was missing, but if they wanted I could send another button. They never replied. I commented on my own feedback, they have now commented on their feedback saying they had emailed me two times regarding this - incorrect! Can I comment on this and if so how do I do it - I am sure I have seen this in the past.
Many thanks!

Personally i would let it go, if i read their comments i would think " ok a little picky" if i saw you kept arguing i may think you were in the wrong, it can make you seem too defensive.
As a buyer i dont consider negatives to mean you are a bad seller, just someone who had an unsuccessful transaction. i recently purchased from a power seller who in the last month had something like 40 negs and 50 neutrals BUT over 4 thousand positives. My purchase was better than described and im glad i wasnt put off.
i would however block this bidder from any further sales, and email them a final communication stating that you are a genuine seller who is disappointed that they have resorted to this kind of negative behaviour. ( i had a buyer claim they sent me several messages i didnt receive, popular excuse i think
)

Mishkanorman - your right - I should let it go - it just gets on my goat - my first neg in over 3 years for a 99p pair of shorts that were going to the charity shop before they asked me to relist them! - grrrrrr - I have already blocked them from bidding on any of my other auctions.
Razorbladekisses - thanks for reading.
Cheers
