How to invest in Gold
Comments
-
Just watched a guy on Bloomberg who only invests in Gold and Silver.
He was mega bullish for both metals over the coming year and mega mega over the coming decade.
He was talking about silver matching gold and gold increasing 15 times in the near term and 100 times over the coming decade.
All this due to problems in the US economy.
Only invested in miners before but now considering both metals themselves. No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
If he only invests in gold and silver, then he has to be a) a bit of a muppet and b) obviously has to be extremely bullish on it, if for no other reason that it's the only thing he invests in.Just watched a guy on Bloomberg who only invests in Gold and Silver.

In 2007 there were lots of guys who were extremely bullish on property. and we know how that ended. Bloomberg, cnbc, et al are just entertainment.
Personally I like both metals, silver more so, but be aware there is a lot of speculative money in there, gold has been being pumped for over a year now. Institutions took very large positions throughout 2007 and 2008, they will need buyers to let them out.
If you understand the miners, and gold and silver really are going to those levels, then miners, being a leveraged play on the metals would be undervalued relative to gold and silverHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
