I wonder if anyone can help me or had same problem, sent SAR MBNA for PPI and charges on Abbey card sent all recorded delivery over a month ago. I called to ask when l would get response to be advised never received. Checked through Royal Mail and printed off signed paper and sent and still no response. Are they delibrately avoiding or what step shall l take next.Unsure what to do as these charges go back 6 years and although still owe balance of £700 this amount should exceed this.

If you sent the SAR off they have 40 days to respond. If they do not respond then write and give them another week or you will send the information into the ICO Information Commissioners Office. Good Luck:mad:0

Your next letter must be threatening, they are deliberately stalling and playing a dangerous game too by the sounds of it. If you have proof of receipt then as Max says they have 40 days to respond, but what actually happens when the rules are broken on this? nothing i expect, the banks do what they want!0
