Quick question re Paypal please

I have about £5 in my paypal account and want to bid on an auction that is Paypal only and ends tomorrow. The final price will be roughly £15.

If I win, can I pay by Paypal and then they will debit it from my bank details or will I have to transfer money into my account first (which takes 7 - 9 days)

Thanks

    Hi,

Paypal accounts will normally have a back up funding source. For example if I bid in the same situation as you it would take the £5 from my paypal account and the remainder from my bank account.

In short no you shouldnt have to transfer the money to your paypal account
