Wonder how long it will take them to refund it....when items have been out of stock before it has take up to 4 weeks for the money to appear on my Debenhams card.

I just spoke to someone in the customer services department and they advised that the refunds will be issued automatically when the cancellation e-mail is sent, the monies should then be back in our accounts within 3 days. I hope this helps.

I wouldnt bother trying again, I have one in my basket for £159 and I can check out with that, but in reality it is just £159 of your money tied up for up to 10 days whilst they cancel and refund etc.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Trading standards take, if they have taken the money then the product is legally yours, they have completed the contract you entered into and are obliged to deliver the goods.

I just spoke to customer services, they said they weren't aware of the problem in the early stages and indeed they probably would have gone through the system, but someone placed an order for 50 of them and this alerted them to it AGHHHHHHHH
  • How could somebody be so stupid or greedy!
