we've got that one. it overheats after a while of usage but we have clay soil you can throw pots with. You need to watch where you're going with it and step out of it's way. It's electric so be careful about where you trail the wires.
It's good value for money as you won't need to use it much but so useful to have.0 -
Got a link?
If it's the same one as we have, they are pretty good...
Might be a bit of a problem down the lotty if you dont have a 240v supply or generator handy.....To travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -
ah i didn't notice it was elec that might be a problem, i only looked at it quickly while i was in lidl, just a thought afterwards that i should get one.

I went into Lidl in Cov to look for this. They said it was in about 4 weeks ago and quickly sold out. Has anyone seen one in Midlands?0

I think you will find it's the other way round. Lidl is very organised, sends out emails to all its subscribers every week, detailing the offers coming up, and then frequently sells them out quickly the following week.
It's a pretty good business strategy that some UK firms could learn from. They also guarantee everything electrical for 3 years.
Maybe it's the customers who need more organisation.0 -

A business that sends out offer details based on people's postcodes is pretty organised in relation to those offers, especially when they often sell out.
I also applaud any business that gives a 3 year guarantee on electrical goods, because although the Sale of Goods Act may give people longer, in reality, most don't claim, and many have hassle if they try.
As regards Lidl for the weekly shop, or as a shopping 'experience,' no, I'd rather not, but then I'd say the same about Asda & Tesco.
For those who have missed out on Lidl offers, they often repeat them within a few months. I missed an electric drill, but picked it up a while later.
Oh, and if I wanted a rotovator, Id go to:

who I don't work for either.0
