that was a horrible thing to do. sat looking at my travel agent job i've gotta do in my lunch hour thinking if only it were real,

and then you make me look at that gorggeeee beach. my only trip this year is Wales lol i need rich bf to wisk me away lol

    Sorry :o

Just so looking forward to it! I've not had any holiday off work or the Open uni since last May. I've been in pain with sinus problems since October last year, and I'm in my last year at uni which is a lot of hard work. I'm really really knackered now, and just really need a chill out break. Everyone, fingers crossed that the ash cloud doesn't spoil it :D
Here I go again on my own....

Strange, I am Probationary with RE, but how can i complete a report if they wont give me one lol... i did do a survey but i don't think that counts Hrm!?

    Incredibly jealous!

I can see 5 within 20 miles of Bristol.

On a secondary point, if you've only just completed your first report for them then you're likely still probationary. Until your report has been proofread and approved you won't be able to pick up another job.

That shouldn't stop you seeing them though, unless RE have changed it.

Oh... how strange! I'll keep checking abck then.
    Thanks :)

yeah it is a competitor. Thats seems a little cheap of abai

I find a lot of Abai jobs are poorly paid.

I've done 3 competitor visits this weekend and for the work involved and the cost of travel (two "competitors" were miles away!) it's just not worth it.

I had combined the travel with other jobs otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

Morning all, haven`t posted on here for a while. Been very busy with day job and ms`ing....rapidly going off eggs! Even my daughter in law wouldn`t take any more off me yesterday!
I think I need plasters on the end of my fingertips with the amount of reports I have had to get back over the weekend.
Is my birthday today.....prob too old for some of the jobs now..lol..but I have got 9 assignments lined up for today so making hay while the sun shines.
    Happy ms`ing everyone...have a good day..and easy on the eggs:rotfl:

    Happy Birthday Squeaky!! :D

    Have a lovely day X

I noticed there are lots of RE alerts coming up but mine is showing as 0 available, even in "all areas" any reason for this? :( just did my first MS with them yesterday and have just submitted my report so cant see that I've done anything wrong??

You and me both - I go and have a look when an alert comes in but there's always the same pub there!

How far away is it? How long does it take to get there? Are you going past anyway? Is the free fuel welcome? What value do you put on your time? All questions you should be asking yourself and if the job doesn't reward you sufficiently you don't have to do it ;)

Argh! forgot to get a receipt for a gfk job- how forgiving are they or should I just write off the fee?

I was feeling very pleased with myself as I 'd managed 3 jobs and a phonecall this morning, but his has put a bit of a dampener on things.

I'm looking on the bright side and thinking that even if they don't pay, I would have had to buy lunch anyway, and I managed all my trips on the same bus ticket, so I haven't lost anything but the time.

Can someone give me some advice with RE.... I have added some big towns like Leeds Edinburgh Newcastle and Glasgow and still have not come up with even one gig... is there another way i should be searching i have 50 mile radius on there or is it a matter of KEEP checking??

I'm near one of these towns and at the moment have no jobs showing- unless I log on within 10 minutes of an alert that tends to be the case, I have a feeling I live very near another MSE convert.
