Many thanks earlier for pointing me in the direction of the 1st few pages of the thread.
I've applied to 2 mystery shopping places this afternoon and been accepted :)
Had a look at the FAQ in the 1st few pages of this thread but still have some questions. Also, been reading the 'training' on the companies websites.
If you do an assignment in eg a fast food burger places then doesn't it look a bit obvious to ask for a receipt? Those places never give receipts so in asking for one doesn't it highlight your probably mystery shopping or do those assignments generally not require receipts?
    Many thanks

Yep, you might as well have "I'm a mystery shopper" written on your forehead, ask for a receipt and you'll probably get "The Show" as we call it on here - staff carrying your tray, opening doors, offering extra drinks, cleaning tables that aren't clean and sweeping the floor that doesn't need sweeping, bringing balloons for kids ... I even had the MANAGERESS sweeping the car park right by my car as I left once!!!! You just have to try and keep a straight face!

I posted ages ago about secret shopping service and cannot see a response and did not get any pm-s, when i tried to register with them the only addresses I got were US only so can someone point me in the right direction please so I can get registered. I emailed them about it and did not get a response so I could do with some help please :)

edited - sorry ignore this just tried again and I now have an account! can someone tell me if there should be an extended profile to enter payment details (ie paypal stuff) as I cannot find this on there. Sorry to sound so dense but I did not even know they had actually set an account up for me as last I knew it had failed as the system would not accept a UK address.

I think i've done that shop lol

i just repeat the question, which is stupid, but my question is, are the people paying for these reports fed up of reading the comments when they only want a yes/no answer.

I would be pretty annoyed if i had to read however many reports and i had useless comments which didn't need to be there. Who designs the questionnairres?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

i think re do seems as so many of their reports contain qu's like these. i found a lovely top and tried it on and when i asked the assistant to get me another size she informed me i had it on back to front! :o durrrrrr! did wonder why the pockets looked weird but the buttons were meant to be on the back! in my defence it was the wrong way round on the hanger and i assumed the buttons went at the front!

shop was nearly dangerous- spent an extra £9.99 and nearly bought a second top!

See I can *sort of* understand that, because if you tick the 'some' box then it might be necessary to clarify that 1/4 assistants were. pointless as a mandatory comment for the other options tho.

Thanks Clippy_girl - I called them and they said it was a computer error! Typical - spend all day trying to get jobs and then when I get one in my area - they take it away from me!!! lolz ow well.... I'm sure I'll find something soon :)

How is everyone? Does everyone live local to eachother then? I see most jobs are in London... x

Thanks everyone for birthday messages, I've had a lovely day and done 2 of my reports already (might save the other one for in the morning and go and enjoy a bit of cake now!!) Done a report for RE for a pub lunch which only took 10 minutes and didn't require an essay after each question:eek: can't quite believe it!!
