I would advise anyone considering buying from Mesh computers to seriously listen to the negative comments made about Mesh in most computers forums and do not but from them. Mesh are great at taking your money, but customer service and support is rubbish. I spent nearly £2000 on a mesh computer in April 2005. About four months later the motherboard developed a fault ( which was well known about) and the creative labs speakers packed in. I was told I would have to pay £40.00 to return the items or I could take out a more expensive warranty which I foolishly did. The computer returned after an age and new speakers were sent. I continue to have problems with mesh and the new speakers have developed faults. Mesh now tell me I cannot return the speakers as the 1 year guarantee only applies to the original speakers. I would assume if new speakers are supplied the guarantee must surely start from new with the new speakers. Creative labs who supplied the speakers are equally unhelpful. Anyway if you want a computer that costs the earth and sounds like a wind turbine sitting next to you I strongly reccommend mesh then

They have obviously went downhill in the past 5 years then.

November 2001 I bought a MESH computer, cost plenty but was the going rate for the spec at the time.

Only had one problem with it - the PSU, and that was my fault. Regardless, they sent a courier out for my machine (Year 2 of the then 1 year onsite & 2 year RTB warranty). Had it back within 5 days, healthy again.

Because of my experience with them I would reccomend them to anyone (if they didnt want me to build a machine for them )

As for guarantees starting again for replacements, see my EPSON thread and you will find all manufacturers are the same
