First off, hi; I'm new to the forums. I'm not massively comfortable right now with the concept of getting into debt to gain credit history, even if the debts are temporary. To that end, I've been looking for a pre-paid or secured credit card, but I've been having very little luck; it doesn't seem to be a common thing in the UK.
My question, therefore, is whether any secured/pre-paid credit cards can be obtained easily by a recent graduate, and what hoops I'd have to jump through in order to obtain such a beast. Is it possible to get one, basically?

That does look like an intriguing option, saverram; it seems, however, that Egg request a monthly debit from another account into the new Egg account, and I don't have the funds right now to provide that.
