Well I suppose we will just have to see if we can populate the current ISA on 6thApril, or have to open a new one.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

I have to wonder whether it is worth the extra £20 interest for the extra work required to get the Santander one over the Barclays Golden ISA, when the latter just requires me to do a few clicks whilst logged in to Barclays???
PS: Hurry up X-O......I want to take up my 2009/10 S&S ISA allowance and you aren't emailing me fast enough....British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

im of the same opinion, but the deal breaker for me is when I get an offset mortgage with maybe woolwich, i will be able to include these in the offset... saving me even more spondoolies... ;-)
Also, I like a one stop shop, and the hassle and difference for 20 quid seems ridiculous to change banks, its easier to move current accounts and all savings rather than have so many different providers.
To see the big picture you need a portfolio account like trustnet to get your big head with the big balances. lol
All you have to think is hassle, time and petrol, effort, parking chgs visiting branch etc.Plan

I went into a branch on Saturday, filled out an ISA form as all the advisors were busy and told somebody would call me back. Still waiting. Have rung up the branch twice. Still waiting.
Now I read the above and wonder if they will honour the origianal rate.0
